Dear community
Looking forward to see your advices and support with implementation FTP Voyager for my new proect, that contains serveral simple tasks that need to be covered:
1. Scheduled downloading of the new files from remote folder #1 to local folder #1 (done)
2. Delete downloaded files from the remote folder #1 (not done, please advice how can I do it)
3. Scheduled uploading of the new files from local folder #2 to remote folder #2 (done)
3.1*. Uploaded files moved and automatically deleted by server script, from remote folder #2 (done by provider)
4. Avoiding of the second time uploading of the already uploaded (and deleted by server 3.1) files from local folder #2 to remote folder #2 (not done, please advice how can I do it)
Hello
Is there anyway to backup all the Scheduler settings?
(Site Profiles and Tasks)
I'm new to Voyager FTP. How can I edit the permissions in existing jobs
I am getting this error and I don't know what the problem is.
SSH Disconnect Error: no more authentication methods available.
We are using Serv-U on the back-end and FTP Voyager on the front end.
Regular password based connections work fine.
As soon as I create a private / public key and bind it to the user (on both sides), then the authentication will not work.
Here is the log.
Perhaps I have to disable password authentication before public key authenication will work?

I am getting this error only when connecting to a server with a profile under "scheduler site profile" (under tools), when using and identical profile under the regular "site profiles" (under browser) I don't get the error. It's very consistent when I try the scheduler site profile first and many times. Once I try the site in the regular profile and it connects I can then go back to the scheduler profile and it connects just fine. If I stop and start the scheduler service the error returns.
Any ideas? I've made sure both profiles are identical. I've also removed and re-created the scheduler profile. I don't get it. It's like a bug.
I've tried the re-connection and timeout values but they don't seem to help as it actually does connect but then immediately get's disconnected.

Hello,
I have been going crazy attempting to upload files to another (Linux) server and I am getting errors.
once I figured out how to get the sites to show up when using the scheduler, i used the export and import rather then re-create accounts.
a users guide with examples would be really great! i can find any such thing.
so the issue i am see is this... I can connect using the browser and upload files with no issues. when i use the scheduler, I have to specfiy the local and remote directories. this is where things get interesting. I am placed in a home directory on the remote side, so for the remote side I just use / and for the local side i click on the folder icon and navigate to the folder E:\folder\folder1 and I would assume that everything in folder1 would be uploaded. Wrong! it tries to create the remotefolder2 and dose not have permissions and so it fails. why is it trying to create folders? in the help man, it says that the directory listed in the local and remote will grab everything in that folder and says nothging about trying to create that folder. I just want to move files in that local folder1 to the remotefolder2.
the Actions I have tried so far is as follows:
Upload: "E:\localfolder\localfolder1" to "/"
Upload: "E:\localfolder\localfolder1" to "/remotefolder/remotefolder1/remotefolder2"
Upload: "E:\localfolder\localfolder1\*.*" to "/"
any trailing "/" or "\" are removed when you hit save.
when I add the /remotefolder/remotefolder1/remotefolder2 to the remote folder location, the error logs show it attempts to create remote directories remotefolder/remotefolder1/remotefolder2
I have changed the site profile advanced options \ file transfer \ transfer mode to Binary.
here is the thing i don't understand. I can connect using the browser and see the remote site, and i can transfer files to and delete on the remote end with no issues at all and the logs are much smaller. only when trying to use the scheduler is where things go goofy.

I'm new to Voyager FTP. How can I edit the permissions in existing jobs
Hello All,
I am testing out the functionality of FTP Voyager prior to purchasing it and have run into an issue that I hope you can help me solve. The end result that I need is to have a watched folder where it will automatically upload any file to FTP that appears in a local folder, and then afterwards, delete the file from the local folder. I believe that FTP Voyager Scheduler is the way to go for this.
I am currently experimenting with the Move Up action in FTP Voyager Scheduler. The problem that I am running into is that it is moving up my entire folder and the contents, when I want it to just upload the files. I tried putting a wildcard (JTSD*.txt) in there thinking that it would only grab my files, which all start and end with the same characters. Unfortunately, it takes my entire folder and moves it instead of just the files. The problem with this is that I have set permissions on this shared folder so that it will receive files from another application. If the folder disappears, then it breaks my functionality and I have to recreate my folder again. How can I get this to work the way that I want?
I have also successfully set up FTP Voyager Scheduler using the Synchronize Remote Folders action. This method kept the existing file, but would upload it again if the original was removed from the FTP site. This would work fine for me if I can get it to delete the file from my local folder after it is uploaded so that it will not upload it again if someone removes the file from the FTP site.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
I am using FTP Voyager to connect to a remote site via SFTP. When new files are added I have to manually click refresh to see the new files. I am sure this used to automatically refresh? Any ideas?
Thanks
My system updated to Windows 10 a few days ago. I went to open Voyager and it will not do anything. It will not FTP any files and it will not open the server side files to access. It just sits and spins. Is this caused from the Windows 10 upgrade or should I look elsewhere? Thanks, Ronald Shackelford.
Hello,
I created 2 actions. First one uploads the files to egnyte via ftp over SSL.
Second runs a script to delete the files locally.
When I execute the task I get this message
The request cannot be performed. You may have been disconnected by an administrator.
The files do still upload. But the script does not run and I am unable to cancel the task.
I get this message.
You are no longer logged in or have been disconnected by an administrator.
I have to terminate the application to edit the task.
Any help will be greatly appreciated .
Hi everyone,
I am new to FTP Voyager, and I am using FTP Scheduler feature to sync the data on remtoe ftps site. It
Client OS: Windows 7 /10 Professional
Server: Windows 2012 R2 with FileZilla Server installed.
Issue details: I want to sync the data on ftps server to my local network share driver. It happens that when the transfor over the internet, If I set up the ftps in the intranet, there is no problem.
But I am SURE that all the ports that FileZilla using is opened on the firewall. I can use FTP Voyager client to download the files manually
Based on the documentation on the offical website, I disable the UAC and use UNC instead of mapped letter. When I sync the data, a few minutes later, I found the following errors:

file name and extension of .csv but the contents is blank and is 0KB in
size.
Do you know what would be causing this please?
Best regards
Dan
I have several tasks setup to run at different time intervals on a daily basis.
After the time change for Daylight Savings Time on Sunday morning the tasks run as scheduled and then stop and re-start continuously.
I have tried re-starting the service, updating the task scheduler time and re-booting the server all to no avail.
Has anyone else seen this or does anyone have any ideas on how to correct it.
I am on FTP Voyager version 16.0.2.0.
Never had this issue on any previous versions.
Is there a place to download version 15 again????
We have a scheduled task on the FTP Voyager Scheduler that is supposed to check a local folder every 2 hours and move all zip files (*.zip) from it to a remote folder if there are any.
The move up task seems to be running normally, uploading the files to the remote folder, but each time the task runs, only the last file is transferred completely and the files before that only partially (9 kB each).
After the upload, none of the files in the local folder are deleted. The log doesn't have any indication of any failures.
Am I doing something wrong or is the FTP Voyager having a problem with the remote server I'm trying to work with?
I'm loggingon/uploading to an remote directory called d with a path of a\b\c\d.
action name is '$LocalPathFmt' to '$RemortePathFmt'
remote file or folder is 42.bidd06j.cisrecev*
local file or folder is d:\calwinoutboundfiles\42.bidd06j.cisrecev*.*
voyager log file as follows:
257 '/a/b/c/d' is current directory
(action: 'd:\calwinoutboundfiles\42.bidd06j.cisrecev*.*' to '42.bidd06j.cisrecev*') uploading from 'd:\calwinoutboundfiles\42.bidd06j.cisrecev*.*' to '42.bidd06j.cisrecev*'
cwd 42.bidd06j.cisrecev*
550 42.bidd06j.cisrecev*. A file or directory in the path name does not exits
unable to change to folder '42.bidd06j.cisrecev*'
I need to the file to be uploaded to the d directory. I don't want to change directory(the cwd). It worked just fine in version 15.2.0.19
Any advice would be greatly appreciated... thanks, Brad
Good day
I've set up a Scheduler job to Move Down files from an FTP server to my local disk.
The files download fine but then the remote files are never deleted, I don't even see a failed DELE command in the log.
I've tried the following two remote paths:
Both work for downloads, both don't delete the files.
Log Sample

[04] Sat 12Apr14 17:22:56 - XCRC command failed. The command may not be supported by this server.
[03] Sat 12Apr14 17:22:56 - XCRC command checking has been disabled for future transfers using this session.

Any help to fix this or workaround would be much appreciated.
I have just changed my computer in the office and tried to transfer to the new one my "old" FTP Voyager 15.2.0.19 which I bought from Rhinosoft in early 2012. It was a surprise to read that Rhinosoft does not deal with this anymore...
As I am very old-fashioned, I would like to continue using that version (without upgrading to the 16). Is there any place where I can get a zip or any other file (e.g. by email) to download and install FTP Voyager 15.2.0.19?
Kind regards from sunny Ibiza
